What is a monitored alarm system?

A monitored alarm system is connected by telephone wires or cellular telephone to a "central station".  A central monitoring station acts as the link between your home and the police, fire department, and emergency response authorities.   A central station is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by highly skilled operators trained to respond to emergencies.   When alarm signals are received by the central station, trained, professional operators contact authorities and responsible parties.   Alarm signals are transmited in a format that provides the central station with crucial information such as:

which window or door has been violated;
if the alarm sent was a silent panic;
Central Station technology enables the operator to instantly determine if the alarm signal received was a fire signal or a carbon monoxide (CO2) signal;
alarms can be programed to monitor for floods and low temperatures.

At Home or Away, Awake or asleep, a custom alarm system, installed by H.S. Custom Security, LLC can keep your family and home safe.
